What is Invisalign®?
Invisalign® is expert-directed biological tooth movement, combined with incredible technology and engineering that utilizes clear plastic trays to move and straighten teeth.
Who can have Invisalign® treatment?
Invisalign® treatment is designed for patients of all ages, but each patient must be screened by Drs. Elise Vincelette and Raman Samra to determine whether or not their case is appropriate for this treatment method. Invisalign is used for both the top and bottom teeth, and often both arches need to be treated.
What can be corrected with Invisalign®?
Invisalign® can address everything from minimal single tooth movements to complex comprehensive orthodontic treatments involving alignment of the teeth and correcting the fit of the bite. Invisalign® treatments are broken down into stages, and each stage has an accompanying tray or “aligner” worn by the patient for prescribed intervals of 7-14 days each.
What types of treatment are offered?
- Early treatment. We recommend your first appointment and assessment as early as seven years old.
- Teen treatment. This is a great time for orthodontic treatment as all of their permanent teeth have likely erupted, and we have a wide range of treatments to fit their unique needs.
- Adult treatment. It is always possible to enhance your smile, no matter how old you are. We offer a range of solutions for achieving the perfect smile, including Invisalign® and braces.
